About Celene-
In 2013, I began my journey to become a more knowledgeable and credible horse trainer, with the goal of improving my own horsemanship and helping others do the same. I completed my first 3-Week Ken McNabb Certification that fall, earning my Apprentice Trainer Certification. From there, I was determined to finish the full program and achieve my Master Certification.
After returning to Wyoming in 2014 to complete the Journeyman level, I was offered an internship with Ken McNabb for the spring of 2016. I spent six months living and working in Wyoming, riding a wide range of horses, doing ranch and cattle work, and gaining invaluable hours in the saddle. One of the highlights of this time was riding in the Diamond-McNabb Horse Sale — an unforgettable experience.
Following the sale, I returned to Wyoming to complete my final 3-Week Clinic, where I earned my Ken McNabb Master Trainer Certification.
Since then, I’ve continued to develop my skills by riding with top professionals including Ken McNabb, Josh Lyons, Michael Lyons, and Craig Johnson. I now compete in ranch horse, reining, and barrel racing.
I believe the greatest teacher is the horse. My approach focuses on patience, feel, and understanding the mechanics of the horse’s body — helping horses find the right answer through guidance and motivation. My passion is helping people build confidence and develop a stronger partnership with their horses.
